Doctor Ice is a rapper in the hip-hop world. He was with the group UTFO, most famous for their song "Roxanne, Roxanne". He is the younger brother of Jalil from the rap group Whodini.Doctor Ice had a stage persona known as the "Debonair Doc". [1] Doctor Ice influenced Hip-Hop dancing to a new form. His influence can be noted by the dance moves in videos done by artists such as Kid N Play, Scrap Lover and Scoop Lover (dancers for Big Daddy Kane) and G-Wiz and the late Trouble T-Roy (from Heavy D & The Boyz). The commercial world fashioned their dance moves after Micheal Jackson but the black community embraced Doc Ice because his dancing was reflective of the type of dance moves done at a house/block party or in the nightclub. He left UTFO in the late 80s before the group's breakup in 1991 to go on a solo career. His first album, The Mic Stalker in 1989, produced by R&B group Full Force, had the singles 'Word To The Wise','Love Jones', and 'Sue Me'. His second album, Rely On Self appeared in 1994.

“Jaz” born Jazmin Talia Stovall on June 14, 1998 is a sixth grade honor student who loves dancing, cheerleading, reading and writing. She is the proud author of a series of “Young Author” books entitled “Maya and Fluffy”. In 2008, Jaz overcame her shyness and joined the Liturgical Dance Ministry at the Apostolic Church of God, where she has been praising the Lord in dance ever since. In addition to dancing, Jazmin’s future endeavor includes learning to play the violin. Jaz hopes one day to become a doctor and professional dancer. Priya Lynea Artanese Boyd was born 9 years ago after a short 38-minute delivery. She was in a hurry to meet the world and has been running ever since. Priya loves meeting new people and is a born diplomat and peacekeeper. As a new 4th grader, she looks forward good grades and learning new things. Her travels have taken her to multiple US states and recently on a missions trip to Jamaica. We will discuss the orisa Ori with Chief Dayo today. Ori is the Orisa on ones own personal head and destany. We will learn about this very important orisa of the yoruba dieties. Chief Adedayo Ologundudu (Chief Dayo) is a Babalawo and Ogun priest. He was born in lle Ife, the legendary city of the origin of the Yoruba people. Born into a family of blacksmiths, carvers and drummers, Chief Dayo was initiated as a youth into the sacred worship of Ogun. He is founder and Director of the Institute of Yoruba Cultural Studies and Herbal Clinical Research. In 1977, Chief Dayo founded the Obatala Cultural Center in Ile Ife which furthered the development of cultural music, art and dance. Also in 1977 he coordinated the Conference of the Sons of Ifa. Since his presence in the Diaspora, Chief Dayo has shared and spread his wisdom and knowledge with many Iles practicing the Yoruba tradition. He has taught in the Latin communities in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands. He conducted workshops in various institutions across the country and his group, "Children of Oduduwa" performed traditional music and dance in major institutions such as, the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C., the Museum of Natural History, Great Barrington in Massachusetts, Columbia University, Hunters College and Baruch College in New York City. In 1988, he organized the First Annual Ifa Festival at the Paul Robeson theater in Brooklyn, New York and in 1999 he began the First Annual Ogun Festival at his igbo'du in Brooklyn, New York. Chief Dayo credits his success and his religious training to his family, he states, "My grandmother lived with us and was my foundation and a constant source of encouragement and information. My uncle taught me the sacred worship of Ifa and Orisa. My father, who was a doctor and herbalist, founded the West African Herbal Clinic in Ibadan in the 1960s.
